Alison HuntI am an independent editor and copywriter working for several law firms - either on their marketing, or editing their legal updates to clients. Employment and qualifications
In 1983, I became a law librarian. Much to my surprise, I found the law was more interesting than I expected. I therefore took up studying and became a fully qualified Legal Executive by the 1990s. In 1996, I gained a post graduate diploma in EU Competition Law, and in 1997 I was awarded the Lawyer Hifal award for my work in disseminating EU law. I worked for RadcliffesLeBrasseur until 2003. I wrote and edited a wide variety of leaflets for clients explaining legal developments in a clear and interesting way for business people, government bodies, private clients and others who needed to keep up with changes in the law.I also provided legal research support for fee-earners on European Union legislation, and on many other subjects including data protection, e-commerce and employment law. In addition, I gave courses on personal data rules, human rights law, copyright issues and electronic databases, and wrote talks on legal developments for other lawyers to deliver. |
Every project receives my personal attention
